a week into Mass Control… this is cool!!!

For a newbie this is a lot of information to start proccessing. Hours and hours of video and audio, and this was just week 1. There is even a lot more waiting off stage to be uplaoded. And that is wonderful. I’ve learned so many techniques, websites, and tools that I never knew existed. And couple that I have thought of that I wish did.

Week 1 was all about laying the ground work for a campaign, many different approaches one could take, market research, and a group Q&A TC. Probably the one that can really screw with you is the many different approaches.

Different approaches just adds so many variables to the mix. I’m not the only member who thought this but, as I watch and mostly listen to the videos all sorts of ideas just start popping. I mean it is like, ok I could do that with this market A then also apply the last one to both this and market B. Then a minute later the same thoughts start again except this time it techniques 3 and 4 being applied to market C and technique 4 would work real good with market A. Don’t know what I’d do without notepad. Now I have all these notes that need to be organized. Did I say organized, I have bookmarks on 2 different PCs that need to be synced with my server so that they can be accessible to all. Actually, I have a notebook too which makes 4 all together. What a mess.

All in all, I’m not sure if I’ll have a marketable product at the end of the 4 weeks or not. It won’t be Frank’s fault nor mine but, rather me being a newbie and conquering the learning curve. I do have to say that I have learned a whole lot and Mass Control has saved me a lot of time on the learning curve.

All for now, tomorrow is getting tax docs ready for the accountant. I hate doing that but it has to be done.
